Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with acute care experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Anchorage, AK, working 10-hour day shifts with a rotating weekend schedule.
Details
- Inpatient acute care rehabilitation unit located on the 5th floor of the main hospital building
- 175-bed facility with a therapy team of approximately 60 providers, including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
- Shift hours are 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, four 10-hour days per week on a rotating schedule
- Weekend rotation required, including Saturdays and Sundays, approximately 2–3 weekends per month
- Patient caseload of 8–10 patients per day
- EMR: Epic
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
- Acute care experience is required
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Must have worked in the applied specialty within the last 6 months
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
- Light green scrubs required
