Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient-focused position at a rural general hospital, covering both outpatient and inpatient settings across two clinic locations.
Details
- Position is split between two rural clinic locations approximately 25 miles apart
- Coverage is approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient
- Schedule is Monday through Friday with 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week
- Rotating weekend shifts required less than once per month
- Patient population includes general degenerative conditions, post-surgical, workers' comp, and trauma cases across all age groups
Requirements
- Current PT license required if applicable
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings required
- Experience treating general orthopedic, post-surgical, and trauma patient populations required
- Wound care certification preferred for candidates interested in wound care responsibilities
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
