Somerset Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide critical mental health support to clients from the comfort of your own space. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to develop personalized therapy strategies that best meet their needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to deliver individual and group therapy sessions, catering to families, couples, and individuals facing various psychosocial challenges.
• Incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy, to foster positive change in clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated client care that addresses both mental and physical health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, families, and couples. Our clientele often presents with various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and achieve positive outcomes through targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Colorado.
• At least two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating strong rapport-building with a diverse clientele.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and tools.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or advanced training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is strongly preferred.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methods, particularly in adapting treatment strategies for virtual settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications. In addition to a lucrative pay structure, we provide annual pay increases, substantial bonus opportunities, and unique benefits, including:

• Flexible scheduling options, accommodating sessions from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week.
• No required on-call duties and protections against no-shows.
• A prompt establishment of a full clinical caseload, typically within the first 90 days post-credentialing (costs covered by the company).
