Key Responsibilities
As an LPC at NorthEast Alliance Counseling Services, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized therapy strategies based on thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs.
- Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.
- Utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
- Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans and support holistic client care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participating in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay current with the latest practices and research in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your practice will involve working with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, and substance misuse. You will employ a client-centered approach, fostering a safe and supportive environment that encourages open communication and personal growth.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
Preferred Experience
Specialized experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable. Candidates with a strong track record of client engagement and successful therapeutic outcomes will be given priority.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus a sign-on bonus. Our benefits package includes:
