Position Overview

H.O.P.E Healthcare Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team as a full-time mental health counselor. This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility while allowing you to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals and families struggling with mood disorders. As an LMFT at our clinic, you will engage with clients, offering them a safe space to explore their challenges and working collaboratively to develop personalized treatment plans.

Work Environment

This position is full-time and remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location while providing essential services to our clients. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative virtual team that values continuous development and ethical practice. With a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our therapists have dedicated time to focus on their clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mood disorder symptoms by evaluating their intensity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, preferences, and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective interventions.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and engagement in the recovery process.
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care tailored to clients' comprehensive needs.
• Stay informed of current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapy practices.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation per state regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to support your growth.
• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse set of clients, providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families navigating mood disorders. You'll be tasked with understanding their unique experiences and complexities, fostering a therapeutic relationship based on trust and empathy. Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish secure and trusting relationships with clients.
• Empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach are essential to support clients through their mental health journeys.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage your workload and meet administrative requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a community health setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic models beyond CBT and DBT will be viewed favorably.
• Experience in case management or interdisciplinary collaboration within healthcare is a plus.
