Work Environment
This position is based remotely, allowing for flexibility while still being part of a collaborative outpatient mental health clinic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet individual client preferences.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation following HIPAA regulations and our organization's standards.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
- Engage in regular peer consultations to review cases and improve treatment strategies.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering a clear understanding of the care process.
- Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health to enhance the effectiveness of the clinical practice.
- Manage a full caseload effectively while adhering to the ethical standards outlined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse range of clients, addressing various mental health concerns. This includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will help clients set and achieve their treatment goals, enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with a focus on providing psychotherapy services.
- Proficiency in solution-based interventions and a strong understanding of best practices in mental health care.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability to address complex patient issues.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in community health settings is desirable.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and remote treatment methodologies can be advantageous.
