Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish the unique needs of clients, taking into account their psychological, emotional, and social dimensions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving defined therapy milestones in collaboration with clients.
- Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's specific circumstances.
- Safeguard client confidentiality and adhere to regulatory standards in all counseling practices.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to deepen your skills and knowledge in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As an LCMHC at The Dream Works, you will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. Your role will be critical in fostering a supportive environment where clients feel recognized and heard, allowing them to explore their thoughts and emotions safely.
Qualifications
- Active LCMHC license in Vermont, ensuring compliance with state regulations governing mental health practice.
- A graduate degree in Counseling or a closely related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices, with a focus on client-driven approaches.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, adapting to the unique needs of clients and the organization.
Preferred Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience delivering therapeutic services. This includes proficiency in utilizing digital tools for telehealth consultations, enabling effective remote counseling while ensuring patient engagement and care continuity.
Compensation and Benefits
