Work Environment
This role is a fully remote position that allows you to work from the comfort of your home. With flexible scheduling options, you'll have the freedom to manage your hours while ensuring that you meet the needs of your clients. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly and equipped with secure video conferencing tools, allowing for effective and confidential therapy sessions without geographical limitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs and create individualized, evidence-based therapeutic plans tailored specifically for each client.
- Facilitate therapy sessions engaging individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to foster communication and healing.
- Support clients in identifying and working towards their therapeutic objectives, such as coping strategies, emotional regulation, and relationship improvement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure accurate, timely documentation of all client interactions and progress notes in accordance with ethical guidelines.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and supervision to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to relate to individuals from various backgrounds and tailor your approach to meet their unique needs will be essential for their therapeutic success.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Counseling or a related field.
- Current and valid Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) licensure in the state of Vermont.
- Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population of clients and a strong understanding of culturally competent care.
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant practices.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients, fostering a safe therapeutic environment.
- Comfort and proficiency in using virtual communication tools to deliver therapy effectively.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role.
- Experience in telehealth practices and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
- Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, family therapy, or child and adolescent therapy is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year. In addition to competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
