Work Environment
This role is designed to be performed in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative approach with our outpatient office. The remote nature of this position will enable you to build meaningful connections with clients from various backgrounds while working within a system that values innovation and teamwork. The flexible schedule is structured between Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, helping to provide a balanced work-life environment for our staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client evaluations to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment strategies that promote effective outcomes.
- Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet diverse client needs.
- Empower clients to set realistic and achievable therapeutic goals, providing support and motivation to help them navigate their progress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in strict accordance with ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in mental health counseling, participating in professional development and training programs to enhance therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client base includes individuals from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Counseling or a related field is required.
- Must hold an active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont.
- Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services to clients from diverse backgrounds, showcasing an understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques that drive effective outcomes, such as CBT, DBT, or solution-focused therapy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong capability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, particularly within an outpatient setting.
- Prior experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and digital tools to enhance service delivery.
- Familiarity with specific therapeutic tools and methodologies that improve client engagement and satisfaction.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, life insurance, and generous paid time off.
