Work Environment
This full-time role allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to connect with clients through our telehealth facilities. Our work structure is designed to ensure you achieve a healthy work-life balance, with no evening or weekend shifts required. You will work Monday through Friday, collaborating with a team of compassionate professionals in a fast-paced environment that encourages innovative thinking and shared learning.
Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within our teen and young adult outpatient treatment center, you will be responsible for:
Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions that promote connection and sharing among young adults, helping them learn from and support one another.
Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide personalized therapy sessions, empathetically helping clients explore their feelings and develop effective coping strategies.
Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their unique needs and preferences.
Monitoring Progress: Utilize diverse assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress, ensuring timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Multidisciplinary Coordination: Regularly communicate with fellow team members to ensure integrated care and optimal outcomes for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress management, and it is your role to support them in finding pathways to recovery and empowerment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
A valid and unrestricted LPC license in Colorado.
A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience in mental health counseling, with at least one year of professional experience preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with young adults in a therapeutic setting will be advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and holistic approaches to counseling will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
