North Carolina CRNA locums centered on an easy 1:5 call rotation and a well supported anesthesia team, built around a predictable weekday structure that fits cleanly into your existing schedule.

Highlights

• 1:5 call, every 5th weekend, designed to keep nights and weekends predictable
• Supported model with 4 CRNAs plus 1 MDA, you are never operating in isolation
• Inpatient surgical service with approximately 200 cases per month
• Epic charting

Practice Setting

• Inpatient anesthesia coverage focused on adult patients
• Coverage need, step in and contribute immediately to an established service line
• No code response responsibilities
• No ER backup coverage required
• Occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER

Schedule

• Weekday coverage, Monday through Friday
• One night of call built into the weekly structure
• Standard scheduled hours are weekdays 7am to 3pm
• Night call window runs 3pm to 7am
• 40 hours per week

Cases and Procedures

• Labor epidurals, proficiency required
• Spinals and ITN for obese patients, comfort required
• General surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecological surgery, podiatry
• Occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Board certified CRNA
• Active North Carolina license required, will not wait for license
• Comfort with pediatric patients required

Credentialing

• Credentialing timeframe is typically 60 to 90 days
