Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed initial assessments using evidence-based methods to identify client needs.
- Develop thorough, tailored treatment plans that address the specific mental health concerns of clients.
- Provide individual, couple, and family counseling sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic approaches, and more.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all data is kept confidential.
- Engage in continuous professional development through regular training and participation in staff meetings to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

The clientele at Central Valley Counseling Center comprises individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related field is required.
- Valid license as a professional counselor in Connecticut, with a record of good standing.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team-oriented approach to client care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
