This remote position is designed for experienced professionals who hold a full license as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients to establish and achieve tailored treatment goals that address their unique needs.
- Provide evidence-based therapy that emphasizes prevention and early intervention.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans, ensuring they remain effective and relevant to clients' evolving needs.
- Collaborate with other mental health providers, social services, and community resources to develop comprehensive care strategies.
- Maintain compliant and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment protocols in accordance with organizational standards.
- Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring high-quality service and accurate session notes to track client progress.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to enhance team communication and share insights regarding best practices in mental health counseling.
- Contribute positively to the clinic's culture, advocating for a supportive and enriching environment for both clients and colleagues.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Mental Health Counselor at Positive Pathways, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our client base may have issues ranging from anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other co-occurring disorders. You will play a crucial role in facilitating their journey towards mental wellness and personal empowerment.
Qualifications
- A full, unrestricted license as a LPC, LMFT, and/or LCSW is mandatory.
- A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of one year of practical experience in mental health counseling or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with community mental health resources and the ability to navigate those systems effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive attitude toward client outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working within a community health clinic setting or similar environment.
- Knowledge of evidenced-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
- Previous experience in case management or coordination of care for clients.
Compensation and Benefits
The financial compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
