Work Environment

This position will primarily be conducted remotely, allowing you to establish your own schedule while benefiting from unlimited technological and administrative support. As part of our outpatient services, you will engage with clients through a secure online therapy platform, enabling seamless video and text communication. Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat to enhance clients' mental health and well-being.
• Creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for clients to openly discuss their emotions, experiences, and challenges.
• Acting as an advocate for clients by helping them define achievable goals tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Evaluating clients' mental health conditions and formulating customized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused techniques.
• Staying updated with industry best practices and integrating feedback into your therapeutic approach to ensure effectiveness in treatment delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will consist of screened, stable adults with low-acuity mental health needs, which allows you to focus on effective counseling rather than crisis intervention. We take great care in matching you with clients whose backgrounds and needs align with your specific expertise and demographic preferences, ensuring a fulfilling therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• A completed Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) that allows independent practice without supervision. Note: Provisional or limited licenses and those under disciplinary actions will not be accepted.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural capacity for empathy and understanding.
• Proficient with technology, including counseling platforms and virtual communication tools.

Preferred Experience

We seek candidates who possess at least two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, showcasing their ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload. Experience in remote counseling is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to navigate the unique dynamics of virtual client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

Your efforts will be rewarded with a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, based on hours worked and availability. In addition to a sign-on bonus, you will benefit from weekly direct deposits, a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors, and minimal paperwork, allowing you to concentrate on client care rather than administrative tasks.
