Work Environment
This role is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work environment that accommodates your schedule while maintaining a focus on delivering quality care. You will have the opportunity to collaborate virtually with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, prescribers, care managers, and administrative support personnel. Communication tools and telehealth platforms will be integral to your daily operations, ensuring seamless collaboration and support for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of clients.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to ensure holistic and person-centered care.
- Document clinical notes, treatment progress, and service reports promptly and in accordance with policy standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices.
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, equipping clients with effective coping strategies and support.
- Collaborate with institutional staff to offer consultation, discussion, and strategies regarding the mental health management of clients served.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and program development initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Contribute to the organization's Quality Improvement program by regularly reviewing service effectiveness and ensuring accountability for clinical services rendered.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Behavioral Health Connections LLC, you will work with a diverse population of clients who may face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Our clients range across different ages and backgrounds, requiring a culturally competent approach to therapy. Your expertise will not only assist in personal development and recovery but will also help integrate clients into the community with personalized support.
Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution is essential for consideration.
- A valid and active independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license to practice in Vermont.
- At least two years of experience providing therapeutic or counseling services, demonstrating a strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment approaches.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required for developing relationships with clients and collaborating with team members.
- Proficiency in managing a remote workload independently, including time management and scheduling flexibility.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering services remotely is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care is beneficial.
- Experience in group therapy settings or facilitating psychoeducational workshops.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a robust benefits package that includes:
