Our telehealth infrastructure supports your counseling sessions, offering accessibility and convenience for clients across Vermont. You will engage with a collaborative team, including clinicians, prescribers, care managers, and administrative support staff, ensuring a well-rounded approach to client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs, working collaboratively with clients to formulate effective treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
• Provide individual counseling to a varied clientele, with a significant focus on children and adolescents, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Support clients experiencing PTSD and trauma-related issues, employing evidence-based interventions to facilitate healing and coping strategies.
• Maintain meticulous medical records that adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Implement behavior management strategies that enhance clients' coping mechanisms, empowering them to navigate their mental health challenges more effectively.
• Participate in ongoing clinical research initiatives to contribute to the development of new treatment methodologies and improved client outcomes.
• Utilize advanced telehealth platforms to provide remote services, ensuring that clients have uninterrupted access to mental health care regardless of their circumstances.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care continuity and client support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions.
• Strong assessment skills and familiarity with behavior management techniques.
• Experience with telehealth service delivery is a significant advantage.

Preferred Experience

• A background in clinical research is desirable, contributing to the evolution of mental health practices within our clinic.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques and methodologies that address diverse mental health issues.
• Previous experience working within community health settings, particularly with underserved populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
