Actualized Self Therapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that emphasize individual strengths and therapeutic goals.
- Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions harnessing a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
- Guide clients in identifying and reaching their personal mental health and wellness objectives through structured goal-setting and ongoing progress evaluation.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in alignment with ethical standards and legal obligations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development to continually refine your skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic practices and methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client base reflects a rich diversity, spanning different backgrounds, ages, and mental health challenges. You will work with individuals seeking assistance for anxiety, depression, family conflict, trauma, and other mental health issues. Emphasizing cultural competence and sensitivity, you will engage with each client to understand their unique circumstances and tailor your approach accordingly.
Qualifications
- A valid LCMHC license in the state of Vermont is required.
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
- Demonstrated experience (at least 2 years) providing therapy to a varied client demographic, showcasing adaptability and versatility in your therapeutic approach.
- Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a strong commitment to continuing education and skill enhancement.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in an outpatient office setting, especially in remote therapy delivery.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and client management.
- Training in trauma-informed care or specialty areas of mental health would be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
