Patient Population / Client Focus
Your focus will primarily be on adolescents and young adults aged 18 to 30 who are experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. This demographic requires a nuanced approach that emphasizes understanding, relatability, and effective communication. By working in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), you will have the opportunity to provide intensive support during a crucial time in their lives, enabling them to overcome obstacles and transition to healthier lifestyles successfully.
Qualifications
- A valid and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in the state of Colorado.
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; a Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
