Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our detox center, your daily functions will include:
- Conducting thorough clinical assessments and creating personalized treatment plans that align with best practices.
- Utilizing various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailoring your approach to meet individual client needs.
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA standards and internal policies.
- Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare staff to provide cohesive care for patients.
- Participating in regular case reviews and consultations among peers to optimize treatment strategies and enhance the overall therapeutic experience.
- Offering educational resources to patients and family members regarding mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and available community support.
- Staying informed on the latest research and trends in mental health, integrating this knowledge into treatment practices to better serve patients.
- Maintaining a full caseload of clients while ensuring timely progress towards established treatment objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse array of individuals facing various mental health issues related to substance use, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience focusing on psychotherapy.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and rapport-building.
