Locum Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Central El Paso, TX. TX license preferred. M-F coverage, 10 hr is acceptable. Call Type: In-House. Practice Settings: Inpatient. We are looking for a general anesthesiologist (not pediatric) who is comfortable with regional anesthesia. No cardiac cases, no requirement to do Peds, premies or neonates. Peds experience is a plus but not required. Most cases will be MD supervising CRNAs, occasionally solo work. Types of surgery will be expected to be performed at this facility: Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, Thoracic. Preferred Specialty Skills: General Anesthesia, Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Trauma, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Surgery, Obstetrical Cases, Neurosurgical cases, Head, Spine, Open Heart Anesthesia Thoracic cases (except open heart), Complex vascular cases (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases, Pain management techniques, Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks, Epidural steroid for Lumbar, Epidural steroid for Cervical, Transforaminal, Lumbar, Cervical, Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks, Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, PA Catheter placement, CRNA supervision. Number of Operation Rooms: 5. Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS. Licensed in TX only. No local candidates. EMR: Cerner.
