Centurion Anesthesia is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) for our Fowler outpatient surgery center location in Tampa, FL. This position offers an exceptional work-life balance focused entirely on elective, same-day surgical cases with no call, night, or weekend duties. You will manage perioperative plans, perform direct administration, and lead or work alongside CRNAs/CAAs within a collaborative Care Team Model.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Planning: Perform pre-anesthetic risk assessments, evaluate medical histories, formulate individualized care plans, and secure informed consent.
• Intraoperative Management: Administer general, regional, neuraxial, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and IV sedation across outpatient procedures.
• Specialty Case Mix: Manage outpatient cases including Orthopedics/Spine, Ophthalmology/Cataracts, ENT, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Podiatry, and GYN.
• Care Team Supervision: Lead, direct, or collaborate with CRNAs and Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) as part of the facility's anesthesia care team model.
• Postoperative Recovery: Direct post-anesthesia recovery care in the PACU, oversee acute pain management, and clear patients for discharge.
