Position Overview

UPMC East Side Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our highly collaborative anesthesia team in an ambulatory surgery center setting. This role offers a predictable daytime schedule, diverse case mix, and a supportive medical direction model, making it an excellent opportunity for CRNAs seeking clinical variety with work‑life balance.

Start Date

• June 1

Compensation

• $215 per hour

Schedule & Hours

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (8‑hour shifts)
• Schedule: Full‑time
• Coverage Model:
  • Five (5) 8‑hour shifts per week
  • Supporting four (4) operating rooms
  • Minimum of 12 shifts per month

Practice Environment

• Ambulatory surgery center setting only
• No inpatient or overnight cases
• Medical direction anesthesia care team model

Case Mix

CRNAs will rotate through a variety of outpatient surgical specialties, including:

• Urology
• Orthopedics
• Plastic Surgery
• Ophthalmology

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for Pennsylvania licensure
